General Job Description:
Lays out fabricates prepares and checks pipe against job specifications for assembly at the job site.
Functional Requirements:
Interprets spool sheet diagrams to determine size shapes and angles of required pipes pipe fittings flanges etc.; plans sequence of fabrication; measures and cuts pipe; cleans and prepares pipe by grinding bends and threads pipe - may operate bending machine; assembles and joins pipe and pipefittings; may operate hydraulic lift to relocate pipe.
