Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Opportunity Norwalk Hospital Connecticut (One Hour from New York City)
Norwalk Hospital has an excellent opportunity for a PRNCardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Norwalk Connecticut. The NP or PA in Cardiology provides coverage for stress testing (Regular and Nuclear) noninvasive Cardiology testing and cross covers TEE and cardioversions. The NP or PA supports patient care by performing/ supporting inpatient and outpatient consults. The NP or PA works with the CHF Readmission Team on improvement projects. Our practice has three cardiologists and two advanced practitioners.We are located in suburban Fairfield County about one hour outside of New York City.
The ideal candidate will be a board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and have at least one year of advanced practice experience in Cardiology or Medicine and/or a solid history of nursing experience in Cardiology or Medicine settings. We are seeking excellent communicationclinicaland interpersonal skills. The candidate must be able to work well both with a large multidisciplinary team as well as independently. We offer a highly competitive compensation and benefits package. Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50000 ED visits per year.
