Job Summary
Specialty: Dental Hygiene / Preventive & Therapeutic Dental Care
- BLS (required)
- ACLS (acceptable alternative)
- Radiography (X-ray) certification
- Dental prophylaxis scaling & root planing
- Radiographic imaging
- Dentrix (or similar EHR) documentation
- Local anesthesia administration
- Preventive dental care & patient education
- Perform preventive and therapeutic dental procedures including cleaning scaling root planing and oral assessments
- Conduct oral cancer screenings and take dental radiographs
- Apply fluoride treatments sealants and antimicrobial agents
- Document all patient care in Dentrix and maintain accurate records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain infection control sterilization and equipment readiness
- Support dental team in emergencies and administrative tasks
