Job Summary
TheSeniorManagerPayroll& TimekeepingSystemsisresponsible forsupportinggovernance configuration compliancetestingand continuous improvement ofthe full scope oftimekeeping and payroll-adjacent systems. This role will support the Payroll GovernanceCOEacrossa multiproperty hotel portfolio in the U.S. and Canada. The role providessupportacross UKG(ATLAS) Oracle HCM & Finance time clocks and senior manager will havea strongpayroll & timekeepingsystemsfocusinhospitality nuancessuch as:F&B/banquets service charges&tips union CBAs shift&meal compliance premium pay and acquisitions. This rolepartners closely withcrossfunctional teamsFinanceHRPayrollOperationsITand vendorswithout direct reports driving consistent standards auditready controls and measurable performance.
Primary Responsibilities
Payroll & TimekeepingGovernance
- Maintain CRT updates and table maintenance.
- Lead work rule standardization and employment term standardization.
- Oversee minimum wage adjustmentsupto wage calculations and related calculations conducted in payroll.
- Canary &EventionGovernance -Manage billing configurationchanges onboarding & integration error handling.
- Onboarding &offboarding ofproperties.
- Timeclocks ordering provisioning configuration inventory & firmware testing.
- Compliance oversight - ensure rules for CBAs meal/rest breaks shortshift reporting time and absence requests.
- Support TEFRA configuration and maintenance.
- Support payroll accountingin areas of payroll costing elementconfigurationand GLreconciliation.
Testing Support
- Assistwith improving and executingquarterly release testing scripts forOracle& UKGUAT
- Identifypotential impacts of new functionality fromsystems such asOracleor UKGand execute and review test results to ensure no negative impacts to payroll results or role access
- Coordinate with stakeholders to document business requirements for desired system improvements
- Troubleshooting and research for ad hoc issues that arise withinOracle or UKGtodetermineroot cause or user issues
- Review of defect resolution testing results andassistwith prioritization and sign-off of items for migration to production.
- Setup execution and review oftimekeeping and payrollprocesses with regards to new system implementations such as OracleFinance.
Training Education & Documentation
- Supportpayroll cadre communications training and webinars.
- Maintain and updatejob aids andhowto guides.
- Provide education on wage laws pay rules and compliance.
Data Analytics & Controls
- Monitorexceptiondashboards and payroll warnings.
- Perform variance analysis and deliver insights.
- Maintain audit documentation and publish scorecards.
Qualifications
- 57 years in hotelfinancepayroll timekeeping WFM or HR.
- ExpertisewithOracle HCM/PayrollUKG(ATLAS)andPeoplesoftGL.
- Strong knowledge of Payroll accountingprinciples.
- Strong knowledge of hospitalitypaystructures.
- Experience in configuration testing compliance and vendor governance.
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
- CPP preferred.
- Strong communicationand influence skills.
