Job Description: As a Infrastructure Technical Specialist you will serve as the primary administrator for a secure cloud environment overseeing critical platforms including a virtual desktop infrastructure and enterprise collaboration services. You will manage cloud infrastructure ensure security and compliance deliver end user support and lead deployments and upgrades to maintain reliable operations and a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and monitor cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise business applications.
Manage cloud based virtual desktop infrastructure including operations and performance tuning.
Serve as the administrator for enterprise file collaboration services supporting onboarding and user troubleshooting.
Implement security controls monitoring and compliance practices across cloud environments.
Perform deployments upgrades patching and troubleshooting including after hours support as needed.
Provide clear status updates documentation and cross team collaboration to meet quality standards.
Support application readiness data migration and environment prototyping for cloud adoption.
Troubleshoot complex connectivity performance and distributed system issues.
Demonstrate initiative by learning new systems and improving operational processes.
Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:
Hands on experience managing cloud infrastructure and virtual desktop environments.
Experience administering enterprise file collaboration platforms and supporting end users.
Strong knowledge of cloud security methods compliance controls and monitoring.
Experience as an enterprise systems administrator using deployment and automation tools.
Proficiency with Windows and Linux systems CLI usage and virtualized environments.
Experience designing and supporting distributed systems on public or private cloud platforms.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and provide customer facing support.
Strong troubleshooting performance tuning and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
