Fund Servicing Associate I- Fund Administration

As a Fund Servicing Associate I within JPMorganChase you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our operational services related to fund accounting and administration. Your work will have a meaningful impact within our department as you apply your broad knowledge of fund servicing principles and practices to perform diverse activities requiring analysis and judgement. Job responsibilities

• Prepare and review deliverables related to expense accruals budgeting income distributions capital gains board materials and prospectus/SAI while maintaining all required controls.
• Research and resolve issues or queries communicate effectively and escalate matters in a timely manner as needed.
• Define and ensure successful completion of ad-hoc requests.
• Ensure consistent adherence to checklists and Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs).
• Assist management in implementing new checklists procedures and participate in projects.
• Maintain accurate accounting and securities records for each administered fund ensuring compliance with all prescribed fund accounting controls.
• Investigate and resolve accounting or securities transaction issues breaching JP Morgan system tolerances implement accurate and timely operational procedures partner with Operations Technology Product Sales and Program Management teams and identify and address process vulnerabilities to drive continuous improvement.
• Execute routine fund transactions with accuracy and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Operations and Financial Controllers to streamline workflow and improve efficiency across fund servicing processes.
• Build effective working relationships through strong interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills; identify opportunities to enhance operating model efficiency and platform resilience and implement improvements where appropriate.
• Support training of new hires as necessary perform other duties as assigned and demonstrate willingness to travel to Boston for training if needed.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

• Demonstrated expertise in fund servicing operations with at least three years of experience focusing on fund accounting and administration evidenced by successful execution of related tasks and responsibilities.
• Advanced emotional intelligence skills with a track record of building trusting relationships and fostering collaboration in a professional setting.
• Experience in proposing and implementing process improvements with a focus on enhancing efficiency and resilience in an operational environment.
• Proven ability to apply active listening and questioning techniques to understand and address client needs effectively.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Candidates must demonstrate initiative be able to perform well under pressure and simultaneously handle multiple assignments.

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills

• Experience working across multiple business areas and/or functions to deliver results
• Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting fund administration accounting and/or custody with three years of experience preferred evidenced by successful handling of related tasks and responsibilities.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting Finance or CPA
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial services industry preferably within mutual fund accounting or administration.
