Regional Sales Manager Engineering - West India
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the Western region of India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering sales specifically within heavy engineering EPC and port industries with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing key client relationships.
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales targets and expand our market share in the engineering sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the heavy engineering EPC and ports industries across Western India.
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Lead and mentor a sales team providing guidance support and performance management.
- Analyze market trends competitor activities and customer needs to identify potential areas for growth and product development.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams including technical operations and marketing to ensure seamless project execution and customer support.
- Manage the sales pipeline forecast sales revenue and report on key performance indicators to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events trade shows and conferences.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (.) degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- 8 to 15 years of progressive experience in sales with a significant focus on the engineering heavy engineering EPC or port industries.
- Proven expertise in selling complex solutions including Crane Rail Systems.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Strong understanding of the Indian market particularly in Maharashtra and the Mumbai region.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at various levels.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in sales forecasting and CRM software.
