Responsibilities
The Nurse Educator in Telemetry will play a critical role in facilitating the professional development of Community Health Systems (CHS) nursing staff and ancillary staff ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety in our telemetry units. This position involves planning implementing and evaluating educational programs as well as providing mentorship to nurses. Additionally the Nurse Educator will actively engage in patient care to maintain clinical competence within these high-acuity settings.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) or graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
Experience
Approximately two years clinical experience in Telemetry
Experience in patient and staff education development and implementation quality improvement program development and professional development required
Licenses and Certifications
RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
Additional unit specific requirements required
