Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Ithaca NY

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift Details:

• Shift: Day Shift
• Schedule: 5 shifts per week
• Hours: 8 hours per shift
• On-Call: Required

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to support both cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology (IR) procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a Radiologic Technologist with hands-on experience in interventional cardiology and exposure to peripheral vascular procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Support both cardiac and peripheral (vascular) cases
• Operate imaging and radiologic equipment safely and effectively
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure proper positioning
• Monitor patient status during procedures and respond appropriately
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to safety protocols
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records
• Participate in on-call rotation as required

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Active Radiologic Technologist (RT) license
• Cath Lab experience required
• Experience in interventional cardiology
• Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and procedural workflows

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Certifications such as:
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
• Experience with both cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
