Job Summary
Heres What You Need
- Bachelors degree in Nursing required
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experiencein an acute care setting required
- Experience supporting multidisciplinary clinical teams preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN)license upon hire required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)certification required prior to providing independent patient careand must be maintained per policy

- Knowledge of industry standardsand ability to mobilize clinical and operational resources
- Demonstrated clinical expertisewith the ability to provide education and guidance to patients staff and stakeholders

- Ability to support community outreach and education programs
- Previous experience in program development patient education or discharge planning preferred
What You Will Do
Direct management of the Program and coordination of all services and inpatient and outpatient departments that interact with orthopedic surgery patients including: outpatient testing/education day of surgery operation room recovery room the orthopedic surgery inpatient unit inpatient and outpatient PT/OT services home health etc.
Plans coordinates schedules and implements care of the bariatric patient through all phases of obesity treatment including workup surgery recovery and readmission.
Provides staff with ongoing performance information communicates concerns to nurse leader for appropriate counseling and/or corrective action.
In Collaboration with Hospital Administration works with nursing leader to develops staff have input with operating budgets; ensures appropriate utilization and maintenance of supplies and equipment.
Enforces standards of regulatory and accreditation agencies.
