Registered Nurse (Patient Care Coordinator) ASC Urology

POSITION SUMMARY:The Patient Care Coordinator is a clinical leader that is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the ASC Urology center. The Patient Care Coordinator coordinates patient flow staffing assignments and procedural readiness while providing direct nursing care during procedure and serves as a clinical resource and mentor to staff ensuring consistent high-quality care across all phases of & EXPERIENCE:Graduation certificate from an accredited school of nursing (RN program) requiredCurrent MS state licensure requiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredAdvances Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) requiredCompletion of Moderate Sedation Coarse requiredPediatric Advances Life Support (PALS) requiredMinimum of one to two (1-2) years of nursing experience with prior experience in endoscopy perioperative critical care or procedural areas preferredProficient patient assessment vital sign monitoring IV insertions and administering Moderate SedationQUALIFICATIONS:Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionStrong critical thinking skills organization and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively with physicians technicians anesthesia personnel and to provide safe care during high stress or emergent situationsAbility to use electronic medical record (EMR)Must be timely and dependableMust be able to multi-task work independently and be very detail orientedMust have excellent written and oral communication skillsMust be able to complete documentation accuratelyMust be able to follow existing workflowsKnowledge of ASC procedures infection control practices and emergency response protocolsWORK SCHEDULE:4 10 hour days
