As a Security Officer - Unarmed Access Monitor in Boca Raton FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location where you will monitor entry points manage badges and visitor access and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure this access control role you will remain visible respond to security-related concerns and deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility reliability innovation care and integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures access control duties and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and visitor logs and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns according to site policies.
• Support truck traffic employee access and visitor processing by following posted instructions documenting activity and maintaining awareness of security-related conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
