Estimator I

Responsibilities

• Support the estimation process for projects ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather project requirements and assist in developing cost estimates
• Analyze project plans specifications and drawings to assist in determining project scope and identifying potential risks
• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates including labor materials equipment and subcontractor costs
• Review and validate subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracy. Provide support to senior estimators and estimating managers.
• Stay updated with industry trends market conditions and new technologies related to estimating

Key Skills And Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of construction methods materials and costs. Proficiency in using estimating software and tools
• Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to interpret project plans specifications and drawings
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Excellent organizational and time management skills
