About the role

This Copywriter shouldpossessan understanding of pharmaceutical marketing and be able to communicate brandobjectivesto authentically connect with audiences. The Copywriter will need to translate complex details of various therapeutic areas (Oncology CVRM RIA V&I and RDU) and thoroughly understand the products their scientific position brand guidelines and marketing goals to develop digestible promotional content and messaging across channels.

This position requiresa highly detailed creative thinker with excellent storytelling abilities as well as a love for life sciences research and annotation. This role will help craft bold and evocative marketing messages promotional-only training materials and digital content that engagesand influencessalesteams HCPs and patients and their caregivers.

Whatyoulldo

  • Creating and executing innovative and effective content strategiesand communication campaigns based on secondary market research and insights
  • Analysing available data for a market competitors and the needs/preferencesof our audience to help our team create relatable and captivating content
  • Responsible for ensuring the quality of all externally facing content and adherence to our brand voice tone and writing style
  • Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creativity from concepts through execution
  • Monitoring the execution of theestablished plans and strategies
  • Deciding on content formats and publishing dates
  • Managing the creation of editorial calendars and adhering to the proposed timelines
  • Supporting creative teams with feedback and guidance on scientific accuracy
  • Research and understand the clients needs and target audiences through an online search review of existing research and interviews with subject matter experts
  • Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials; use referencesand annotations as needed
  • Collaborate with a team of client service managers strategists and creative staff on timelinesallocatedresources and creative execution
  • Present copy concepts and final deliverablesto the internal team and to the client as needed andparticipatein client pitcheson occasion
  • Revise copy based on internal and client feedback/direction
  • Participate in the regulatory responsibilitiesand requirements to gain asset approvals
  • Meetsestablished deadlinesor providesreasonable notice ofspecial circumstancesrequiring deadline extension


About you

  • Minimum5 years experience in a fast-paced high-volume environment in promotional content development for pharma industry (pharma marketing/health care advertising/sales/ copywriting)
  • A degree/diploma in health science (medicine/pharma/biology/biosciencesetc) AND/OR a degree/diploma in communications with experience of copywriting for pharma promotional marketing. Anyadditionalmarketing degree/certification/diploma will be a plus
  • Experience with print digital assets in pharma marketing. Experience with global brands will be a plus.
  • Develop copy and concept for marketing materials
  • Use storytelling skills to create engaging assets
  • Understand and internalize brand guidelinesand strategy to implement the same in developing collaterals for the client
  • Work closely and flexibly with design brand production digital and product teams to deliver strategic initiatives
  • Contribute to cross-channel creative ideation/campaign development
  • Establish andmaintainthe highest possible standards of promotional content
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client-related industry trends
  • Stay updated onappropriate styleguidelinesand brand voice for consistency in messaging
  • Understand and follow regulatory standards and requirements for successful submissions
  • Follow best practicesfor annotations
  • Identifycopyrighted material that requirespermission for reproduction; process permission request when
  • Effectively use company project management and communication software
  • Attend kick-off status and other job-related meetings
  • Incorporate client feedback and collaborate with the team to address
