Our client is a Digital Media & Influencer Marketing company that is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
- Advise and partner with subsidiary Chief Accountants: Guide the structuring and optimization of accounting departments ensuring clear role allocation and effective execution of responsibilities.
- Strengthen accounting systems and governance: Support the Board of Directors and Chief Accountant in building standardizing and continuously improving accounting frameworks policies and procedures.
- Enhance financial control processes: Develop and oversee key policies including Accounts Receivable Purchasing & Payment and Advances; proactively identify risks and recommend compliant solutions.
- Safeguard assets and inventory: Implement control mechanisms and coordinate regular physical counts with business units to prevent losses and ensure accuracy.
- Ensure high-quality financial reporting: Oversee the timely accurate and compliant preparation of individual and consolidated financial statements in line with accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Supervise audit processes: Lead and coordinate group-level audits working closely with subsidiaries to ensure timelines quality and compliance of audited financial statements.
- Provide actionable financial insights: Review and validate financial reports to support management decision-making across departments.
- Drive IFRS readiness and compliance: Apply knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) to improve reporting quality and alignment with global practices.
- Oversee tax compliance and risk management: Collaborate with Chief Accountant and Tax Manager to monitor tax reporting assess regulatory changes and propose solutions to mitigate risks while supporting business growth.
- Support financial planning and analysis: Partner with Finance & Operations and other departments to analyze financial data identify cost fluctuations and recommend cost optimization strategies.
- Lead team development and capability building: Manage assess and develop accounting team members; support recruitment and training initiatives to strengthen overall team competency.
- Manage banking and external relationships: Handle transactions with banks and relevant partners ensuring smooth financial operations and compliance.
- Execute additional leadership-assigned tasks: Take ownership of ad-hoc responsibilities as required by senior management.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in accounting leadership roles preferably within large-scale or group structures in Media Entertainment or related industries.
- Technical expertise: Strong knowledge of financial reporting consolidation tax regulations and accounting systems; hands-on experience with IFRS is highly preferred.
- Leadership & organization: Demonstrated ability to lead teams structure departments and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Analytical skills: Strong ability to interpret financial data identify risks and propose practical solutions.
- Communication skills: Effective collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Languages: Fluent in Vietnamese; working proficiency in English.
