On behalf of our Tanzania based client we are looking for a competent and experienced Plant Technician (Welding / Plumbing / Forklift Operations).
About the job:
This role is ideal for candidates who are physically fit hands-on and practical plant operations within a manufacturing environment.
Will specialize in one of the following areas: Welding Plumbing or Forklift Operation. Candidates must demonstrate strong technical skills practical experience and the ability to work effectively in a plant environment.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General Responsibilities:
- Perform daily operational and manual tasks within the plant environment
- Ensure smooth running of plant operations through practical support and maintenance activities
- Follow workplace safety procedures and company operational standards
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the work area
- Report equipment faults maintenance issues and operational concerns promptly
- Support the production and maintenance teams as required
Specialized Responsibilities:
Welding Technician
- Carry out welding fabrication and metal repair works
- Inspect and maintain welding equipment
- Ensure quality and safety standards during welding operations
Plumbing Technician
- Install repair and maintain plant plumbing systems
- Troubleshoot water supply and drainage issues
- Conduct regular maintenance of plumbing equipment and systems
Forklift Operator
- Operate forklift safely for loading unloading and movement of materials
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance of the forklift
- Ensure safe handling and storage of goods within the plant
Requirements
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Minimum education level: Form Four certificate and above
Age between 2230 years
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
Vocational training certificate in either Welding Plumbing or Forklift Operation
Valid forklift operating certification
Physically fit and able to perform manual and operational tasks
Experience working in a manufacturing or plant environment is highly preferred
Good understanding of workplace safety standards

Language Skills:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong practical skills and hands-on work capability
