As a Security Officer - Residential Complex in Elmhurst NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and this people-first role you will support daily operations with agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity while making a meaningful impact in your community.

Pay Rate: $18.91 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures access protocols and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings grounds and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances exits and restricted areas verify credentials when required and report security-related concerns maintenance issues and/or policy violations.
• Support daily operations by preparing clear incident reports following post orders and assisting with directions escorts and other customer service-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
