Senior Technical Training Engineer Onshape
Reports to: Manager Training
Location: US Remote
We are looking for an energetic hard-working candidate to join the Onshape Technical Training team. Ideal candidates are well-spoken and have experience creating engaging training material. This includes creating CAD models documentation and video production as well as creating and executing live and recorded product training. This role requires working knowledge in mechanical engineering and engineering applications (CAD PDM PLM CAM FEA etc.) and the ability to convey our product differentiators effectively.
Primary Responsibilities
- Become an Onshape product expert and trusted advisor.
- Create realistic detailed CAD models for training purposes.
- Create and execute live and recorded product training.
- Continuously develop new skills and learn new features and product offerings.
Requirements:
- Experience with engineering software such as CAD PDM PLM CAM FEA etc.
- Experience providing software product training.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Video creation experience with Camtasia Adobe Premiere or similar software.
- Experience with Thought Industries or a similar Learning Management System is ideal but not required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience
- Minimum 3-5 years working in an engineering role or role working for an engineering software company
PTC carefully considers a widevarietyof factorswhendeterminingcompensation.Theanticipatedannual salary range for this positionisbetween$80000 - $113000.The salary rangereflectsa good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.Actualcompensationmay vary based on a candidates skills qualifications experience and location.
