Managing Director for Center for Vocational Discovery

Job Summary
This role will work closely with the director of the Center for Vocational Discovery to serve students faculty and staff in building programs strategy tools coaching and culture focused on vocational discovery within the four waypoints of the CVD -- identity purpose vocation and location.
- Assist director with student-focused CVD programs initiatives coaching and relationship building to include:
- Freshman Assembly
- CliftonStrengths programs and coaching
- Workshop coordination and execution
- Retreats
- Availability to students
- Assist with administrative tasks of CVD
- Event logistics planning and setup
- Promote and communicate events/programs to students
- CliftonStrengths platform administration
- Tracking event attendance and record keeping
- Communicating details with guest speakers
- Logistics of Illuminate conference
- Lead Pathfinder cohort as follows:
- Creating events and opportunities
- Building and maintaining mentoring relationship with these students
- Overall communication with this cohort
- Monitoring logging and tracking student engagement with program requirements
- Strategic Work with Faculty and Staff
- Build relationships and strategic partnerships across campus
- Work with faculty and staff on strategic CVD integration and initiatives
- Assist with faculty/staff training to help build and maintain a culture of vocational discovery
- Assist faculty in coursework integration
- Assist with CVD Research and Metrics
- Assist director in qualitative research to measure program effectiveness
- Conduct ongoing research in the field of vocation to help ensure best practices to create new resources and to help create new strategies

- Explore evaluate and develop strategic external partnerships
