Treasurer, New Philadelphia City Schools

The New Philadelphia City School District is seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as the district treasurer. The candidate must possess proven leadership capabilities and a willingness to serve cooperatively and collaboratively with the Superintendent as the key leadership team in the district. CANDIDATES SHALL POSSESS OR DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING: - Strong financial and detail-oriented reporting skills; - Knowledge of state and local funding issues specifically all pertinent local state and federal laws pertaining to Ohio public schools; - Experience in effective process management and organizational skills; - Expertise in developing communicating and managing business office procedures; - Experience in the use of state accounting and reporting systems; - Ability to facilitate educational discussions/decisions from an economic perspective; - Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and practical communication skills; - Leadership skills in developing implementing and sustaining short and long term financial plans rooted in fiscal responsibility; - Experience with collective bargaining.
