SolidState Chemistry Scientist

Job Summary
We are seeking a Crystallization Scientist to support laboratorybased crystallization process development. This role is highly handson and focuses on generating highquality experimental and solidstate data to support development programs. The ideal candidate is technically curious highly organized and comfortable working independently in a fastpaced laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support crystallization process development through laboratory experiments including:
- Solubility and kinetic solubility screening
- Metastable zone width measurements
- Laboratoryscale crystallization experiments
- Generate and interpret solidstate characterization data using:
- Powder Xray Diffraction (PXRD)
- Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)
- Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA)
- Analyze product samples for key physical properties including:
- Particle size distribution (laser diffraction)
- Particle shape and morphology (optical microscopy)
- Support technical initiatives related to the design installation maintenance and troubleshooting of specialized laboratory equipment
- Maintain accurate experimental records using electronic laboratory notebooks (ELNs)
- Organize analyze and summarize data using relational databases and complex spreadsheets
- Effectively manage multiple tasks while maintaining scientific rigor and attention to detail
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering or a related scientific discipline
- Equivalent experience: Two years of directly related industry experience may substitute for one year of college coursework
- Handson laboratory experience in chemical or materials characterization
- Strong computer literacy including experience with databases and advanced spreadsheets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Selfmotivated adaptable and comfortable multitasking in a laboratory setting
- Ability to learn new techniques follow procedures and comply with company policies
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship

Additional Information :
- The position is full-time Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- May be requested to work on weekends overtime and holidays based on business needs.
