If you are a Field Service professional looking to advance your career in the service space Emerson has an exciting role for you! Based in Singapore the Field Service Engineer will be in-charge of valve servicing in house and at customer sites inclusive of site walks and site implementation.
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Participates in site survey and site implementation for all valves relating initiatives.
- Troubleshoots valves and control instruments issues at site for customers.
- Works with customer service team to schedule and prepare execution plan for service jobs.
- Conducts valve repair work both in-house and at customers site when required.
- Works with other teams within Final Control Group to generates report for customers on root cause analysis.
- Works with the business unit on customers challenges and derive solutions to solve other issues that they are facing.
- Takes initiative to identify opportunities at site to create Sales leads for Emerson products services and solutions.
- Takes initiative to sell maintenance contracts to customers.
- Ensures compliance of workplace safety rules including but not limited to the usage of a personal protective equipment if provided to you while working; not involve in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger peers or oneself; reporting unsafe work conditions and providing suggestions to improve safety/ health at work as needed.

For This Role You Will Need:
Good knowledge on control valves on/off valves actuators and control and instrumentation.

A team player with strong problem-solving skills and task oriented.
Able to travel on short notice.
Experience in a service operation or maintenance (mechanical and electrical) is a plus.
Possess a Class 3 driving license would be preferred.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Diploma in Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering with at least 4 years of related experience preferably in instrumentation process or service industry
- Experience in a service operation or maintenance (mechanical and electrical) is a plus.
