Trainee Fire Safety Assessor

Location: Peterborough Hybrid with travel to other sites (approximately 2 days a week) and opccasional travel to other regions as required.

Salary: 23373 per annum

Permanent 35 hours per week Monday Friday 9am to 5pm

Trainee Fire Safety Assessor Start Your Career in Safety

Are you passionate about keeping people safe and looking to build a meaningful career in fire safety This is an exciting opportunity to learn grow and gain a professional qualification while making a real difference to the safety of our customers.

As a Fire Safety Trainee youll work alongside an experienced and supportive team developing practical skills while studying towards your NEBOSH Fire Safety qualification. Youll be exposed to a wide range of fire safety activities across the organisation giving you handson experience in a structured learning environment where your development truly matters.

Salary

The spot salary for this post is23373 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. If youre still developing some of the skills or experience you can start at a salary 5% or 10% below the spot rate with clear support and progression opportunities to reach the full amount.

Youll also receive a 1250 per annum essential car user allowance.

The desirables

  • Previous fire safety or compliance experience
  • Experience working insocial housing
  • Awareness offire safety legislation and regulations

The successful applicant will be subject to preemployment checks such as DBS and social media screening before an offer is confirmed.

A role related assessment and behavioural and scenario-based interview focused on how you apply your knowledge to real-life situations. Youll be asked to complete a Customer Service Questionnaire in advance.
Planned date: 18th May at our Peterborough office.
