Non Conformance Quality Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to provide onsite quality support within a production environment in Belfast. The role will focus on managing quality issues related to metallic structural panels delivered for a major aerospace assembly with particular emphasis on supporting production teams and resolving nonconformances.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong quality or manufacturing background who is comfortable working close to the factory floor and liaising with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality support to the production site for delivered metallic panels used in structural assemblies
- Manage and support productionrelated nonconformances (NCs) ensuring effective tracking investigation and closure
- Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to support ongoing production activities
- Ensure quality issues are addressed promptly to minimise impact on schedule and delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow defined quality and compliance processes
Qualifications :
Required Skills:
- Experience in a manufacturing or production quality environment
- Handson involvement in managing nonconformances and quality issues
- Understanding of metallic structures or assemblies
- Strong communication skills and ability to work on site with crossfunctional teams
- Eligible for and able to obtain required system and site access
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing methods and tools
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience.
Desirable Skills:
- Background in Manufacturing Engineering
- Familiarity with largescale production or assembly programmes
