Non Conformance Quality Engineer

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to provide onsite quality support within a production environment in Belfast. The role will focus on managing quality issues related to metallic structural panels delivered for a major aerospace assembly with particular emphasis on supporting production teams and resolving nonconformances.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong quality or manufacturing background who is comfortable working close to the factory floor and liaising with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality support to the production site for delivered metallic panels used in structural assemblies
• Manage and support productionrelated nonconformances (NCs) ensuring effective tracking investigation and closure
• Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to support ongoing production activities
• Ensure quality issues are addressed promptly to minimise impact on schedule and delivery
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow defined quality and compliance processes

Qualifications :

Required Skills:

• Experience in a manufacturing or production quality environment
• Handson involvement in managing nonconformances and quality issues
• Understanding of metallic structures or assemblies
• Strong communication skills and ability to work on site with crossfunctional teams
• Eligible for and able to obtain required system and site access
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing methods and tools

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience.

Desirable Skills:

• Background in Manufacturing Engineering
• Familiarity with largescale production or assembly programmes
