Inventory Clerk-Warehouse

Must be able to maintain production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product for shipping; moving and organizing inventory as needed; operating machinery to move items. Other duties may be assigned.

THIS IS A SHORT-TERM POSITION FOR A DURATION OF APPROXIMATELY 6 MONTHS WORKING MONDAY THRU FRIDAY 8 HOURS A DAY. COULD LEAD TO LONG TERM OPPORTUNITY.

THERE IS NO PER DIEM

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains inventory by identifying labeling and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Able to use paper logs and bar code scanners.
• Able to lift and maneuver packages of a minimum of 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Able to issue material at the counter.
• Able to unload trucks with pallet jack moving material with hand truck and loading material on shelves.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
• Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying pulling packing crating loading and securing product.
• Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
• Able to stand for 8 hours.
• Good interpersonal skills and verbal communication skills.
• Need to be able to receive instructions and follow directions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required for this Position:

Education no minimum education requirements.

Experience 6 months experience in an Industrial setting preferred.
