An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Controller to support the Enablers team within Early Lifecycle Programmes. The successful candidate will work in a diverse team supporting a wide range of programme governance activities from managing contract finances and external customer interactions to delivering projects in partnership with the Enablers team business capability teams or supporting functions. This role involves working with a range of business stakeholders to support the delivery of a key programme critical to delivering our Defence Combat strategy.

What you will be doing:

  • Support the Programme Manager - Enablers in establishing managing and reporting progress on our financial plan.
  • Gathering and reporting business information relating to the cascaded objectives and KPIs of the Enablers team.
  • Focal point within the team for change management and leading on co-ordination of the GCAP forum
  • Facilitating portfolio governance across the Enablers team to ensure team performance is reflected within the wider portfolio.
  • Contractual performance reporting to the Programme Manager Enablers Partners and customers (as required).
  • Development and delivery of improvement projects associated with programme management process tools and skills (ARIS S9) within the Enablers team and where applicable in support of Early Lifecycle programmes.

  • Indicates a good level of knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office tools.
