Reports to: Assistant Spa & Leisure manager and Head of Spa & Leisure.

Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Salary: 12.80 per hour

Aldwark Manor Estate is a privately owned Hotel with Golf nestled in a picturesque village between York and Harrogate. Set in 200 acres of beautiful countryside this luxury Hotel provides a complete escape for both business and leisure guests and is a popular venue for weddings.

In recent years the hotel has undergone significant investment and renovation transforming the bedrooms restaurant residents lounge sports bar and all public areas to deliver a refined and contemporary guest experience.

December marked the completion and opening of the new Salus Spa facilities further enhancing the estates luxury leisure offering. The next phase of development will see the addition of new bedrooms expanded event spaces and additional treatment rooms all scheduled to open later this year.

Main duties include:

• To ensure that all Residents and Leisure guests always receive a high level of customer service from pre arrival until they depart.
• Responsible for maintaining our high gym floor standards with exercise outcomes consistently every shift while encouraging safe and effective us of all gym equipment.
• Ensuring that all fitness equipment is being kept clean and in the correct waking order at all times.
• Daily assisting thewith Spa reception and therapists with guest meet and greet spa orientation Spa & Leisure guests check in and out taking payment alongside internal customer enquiries on service and bookings.
• To ensure the highest standards of hygiene cleanliness and tidiness in the Leisure area.
• To adhere to the opening and closing procedures of the department.
• Assist in the cleaning of the department and light maintenance of the equipment.
• To always maintain personal hygiene standards.
• Assist in the monitoring and control of the pool in relation to standards given in the maintenance manual
• To be responsible for handling cash and cashing up at the end of a shift.
• Be able to carry out both pool and spa tests and take corrective action where necessary
• Provide refreshments to day spa hotel and Leisure guests within the Spa.
• Maintaining an adequate provision of towels robes and slippers throughout the day for all day spa guests and Hotel residents.
• Regular changing rooms checks for cleanliness and making sure the used towel drops are regularly emptied and used laundry taken to the in-house laundry.
• Pools side checks checking for cleanliness and all equipment is running correctly.
