Job Summary

Job Title: Bilingual Civil Engineer (Japanese)

Location: Tokyo

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Bridge Communication: Bridge communication between local site teams clients and international stakeholders.

Technical Design: Develop and review civil engineering designs structural drawings and layouts using CAD/BIM/Revit.

Translation & Documentation: Translate technical reports specifications and project documents between the two required languages.

Project Supervision: Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with design specifications safety standards and environmental regulations.

Cost Estimation: Prepare material labor and equipment cost estimates and manage project budgets.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to local state and federal codes.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in civil site design construction management or structural engineering.

Languages: Native-level (N2/N3) proficiency in Japanese and professional proficiency in English (reading writing speaking).

Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD REVIT BIM or .

Preferred Skills

Bridge Engineering experience.

JLPT N2/N3 or similar language certification.

Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
