Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative medical equipment and devices for our pediatric patients. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that our equipment meets the specific needs of our patients and provides the highest level of safety and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for medical equipment

- Conduct research and analysis to identify design requirements and specifications

- Collaborate with other engineers and healthcare professionals to ensure designs meet user needs and safety standards

- Conduct testing and evaluate prototypes to ensure functionality and quality

- Prepare and present design proposals and reports to management and stakeholders

- Monitor and manage project timelines and budgets

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in medical technology

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD

- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and materials

- Experience with medical device regulations and standards (e.g. FDA ISO)

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and presentation skills
