Network Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Administrator to join our team. As a Network Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our companys network infrastructure ensuring its smooth operation and security.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and maintain network systems including servers routers switches firewalls and other hardware

- Troubleshoot network issues and outages and provide timely resolution

- Perform regular network backups and disaster recovery procedures

- Manage user accounts permissions and access levels

- Install and configure new network equipment and software

- Monitor network performance and provide recommendations for improvements

- Ensure network security and implement necessary measures to protect against cyber threats

- Collaborate with other IT team members to support overall technology infrastructure

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve network efficiency and security

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration or a similar role

- Strong knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP DNS DHCP and VPN

- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools

- Knowledge of network security best practices and experience implementing security measures

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA CCNP CompTIA Network) are a plus
