Job Role & Key Responsibilities: We are seeking multiple Maintenance Engineers to support ongoing engineering operations. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for maintaining repairing and improving plant and equipment to ensure efficient production and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs
Diagnose faults using electrical diagrams and testing equipment (e.g. multimeters)
Support equipment upgrades installations and site improvements
Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and engineering best practices
Communicate effectively with production and across shift teams
Contribute to continuous improvement and long-term engineering solutions
Complete accurate handovers and maintain engineering records
The Ideal Candidate will have:
Electrical bias with C&G/NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent/NARIC recognised)
Strong fault-finding ability and ability to read engineering diagrams
Experience with both electrical and mechanical maintenance
Hands-on experience in a fast-paced engineering environment
Good communication skills and a proactive approach
Desirable Skills:
Apprenticeship trained (multi-skilled)
Knowledge of pneumatics hydraulics and steam systems
Electrical 18th Edition certification
Experience with fabrication and component-level fault finding
