JOB TITLE:
Community Outreach Coordinator I - Wyoming Institute for Disabilities
JOB PURPOSE:
Assist in the planning coordination and delivery of education focused outreach and program support for the Wyoming Institute for Disabilities (WIND) with primary responsibilities in the Inclusive Post-Secondary Education (IPSE) Program and Project ECHO. This position supports educational programming student mentoring systems professional development and statewide initiatives across early childhood K-12 and post-secondary levels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project ECHO Coordination and Support: Coordinate and support Project ECHO activities including session logistics content preparation and editing and participant communication. Maintain Canvas and iECHO Learning Management Systems complete basic video editing participate in community discussions document meetings and attend ECHO sessions to take notes and assist with follow-up.
- Inclusive Post-Secondary Education (IPSE) Program Support: Provide direct support to IPSE initiatives by managing student mentoring schedules facilitating peer-mentor training and coordinating mentor-student matches. Support inclusive campus-based learning experiences leadership activities and educational engagement for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Inclusive Post-Secondary Program Development and Summer Camp Support: Assist with planning and delivery of post-secondary program components including leadership development on-campus engagement and WIND summer camp programming. Provide technical assistance to partners regarding WIND education programs and support outreach through newsletters social media and IPSE marketing materials.
- Professional Development and Training: Participate in position-related professional development including best practices in inclusive post-secondary education and supporting individuals with disabilities.
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties in support of Project ECHO Inclusive Post-Secondary Education (IPSE) and WIND outreach initiatives as assigned.
- Assist with data entry tracking and basic reporting to support program evaluation accountability and compliance requirements.
- provide administrative and logistical support for meetings trainings conferences and special events including preparation of materials and coordination of schedules.
- Support updates to program databases websites and shared files to ensure accurate and timely information.
- Attend and participate in trainings meetings and professional development activities relevant to the position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:Bachelors degree
Experience: 1 year of experience
Required licensure certification registration or other requirements:Valid drivers license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP.

WORK LOCATION:
On-campus: This position provides vital support to campus customers and the successful candidate must be available to work and perform essential job functions on campus understanding our location is at 7220 feet above sea level.
