Job Summary
The Nursing Program is seeking dynamic and qualified faculty members specializing in Critical Care Nursing to join our academic team. Candidates must demonstrate excellence in teaching research and academic service with a commitment to advancing nursing education and practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality lectures seminars and clinical instruction in Critical Care Nursing to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Supervise student research projects and theses.
Engage in scholarly research and publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
Contribute to departmental committees quality assurance and accreditation activities.
Participate in community and social engagement initiatives relevant to the field.
Carry out administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Program.
Requirements
Education:
A Ph.D. in Nursing with a specialization in Critical Care Nursing from a recognized and reputable university.
Professional certification/training in Critical Care Nursing is an added advantage.
Experience:
Demonstrated teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Proven ability to handle academic and administrative duties efficiently.
Experience in curriculum development and accreditation processes is preferred.
Research and Publications:
A strong track record of peer-reviewed research publications (locally and internationally).
Demonstrated ability to conduct and lead high-impact research projects in Critical Care Nursing.
Skills:
Excellence in teaching design delivery and student mentoring.
Proficient in using digital learning platforms dashboards and educational technologies.
Strong communication teamwork and leadership skills.
