What youll do
As the Clinical Coordinator reporting to the Clinical Manager you will play a key role in ensuring strong clinical governance supporting and mentoring staff and driving continuous improvement in care outcomes.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone passionate about aged care and making a real difference in residents lives.
Youll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:
- Deliver high quality nursing care including specialised nursing careLead and mentor the clinical and care team to deliver safe high-quality person-centered care
- Support clinical governance through comprehensive assessments care planning and regular reviews
- Ensure compliance with aged care standards and accreditation through robust quality and risk management
- Educate and upskill staff to build a high-performing confident clinical team
- Work closely with GPs allied health providers and families to deliver holistic care
- Prepare accurate documentation and support ongoing service improvement initiatives
What youll bring
To thrive in this role you will have:
- Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in a senior clinical leadership role preferably in residential aged care
- Deep understanding of the Aged Care Standards Quality Framework and related legislation
- Strong mentoring problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive compassionate and team-focused approach
