What Youll Do

As Head Housekeeper you will lead the housekeeping function ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness presentation and efficiency across all guest rooms and public areas.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading motivating and developing the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional standards
• Managing daily operations including room allocation inspections and productivity levels
• Ensuring all bedrooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standard at all times
• Implementing and maintaining cleaning standards procedures and quality checks
• Managing stock control ordering and cost control within departmental budgets
• Working closely with Reception and Maintenance to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Ensuring compliance with all health safety and hygiene standards
• Handling guest feedback and resolving any concerns promptly and professionally
• Supporting recruitment training and ongoing development of the housekeeping team

Youll have:

• Previous experience in a housekeeping leadership role within a hotel environment
• A strong eye for detail and a passion for high standards
• Proven ability to lead motivate and develop a team
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
• A proactive solution-focused approach
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day operation including weekends and holidays
