One of our clients in South Plainfield New Jersey needs a Senior Project Manager for a contract role.
- Position: Senior Project Manager
- Location: South Plainfield New Jersey
- Position Type: Contract
- Travel: Onsite
Position Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems Management Business Administration or another related field required with 10 years of project management experience
- Strong understanding of project management fundamentals (scope schedule budget risk quality contracts)
- PMP certification required
- Experience leading diverse teams of technical disciplines and support
- Experience supporting system upgrades migrations or platform modernization efforts
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) across a diverse stakeholder group
- Ability to perform stakeholder management
- Risk and issue management
- Technical project coordination
- Vendor management skills
- Quality assurance and governance
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast paced and complex environment
- Strong skills using Microsoft product tools and PPM tools
- Excellent customer-facing skills
- Excellent decision-making and organizational skills are required
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Proven analytical evaluative and problem-solving abilities
- Must be local to NJ and ability to come to the office - main reporting location to be South Plainfield NJ
- Utility background (electric gas or combined)
