Job Summary
Scalstrm is building the next generation of software-defined streaming infrastructure for broadcasters Pay-TV operators and OTT platforms.
After strong growth in the Nordics and Benelux and with our UK expansion underway were hiring a Pre-Sales Engineer & Project Manager to support customers across the UK and Europe.
Broadcasters Pay-TV operators and OTT platforms are replacing legacy encoding packaging and delivery stacks that cannot support:
- FAST & AVOD
- Low-latency live
- Multi-format workflows
- Hybrid cloud and on-prem deployments
Scalstrms platform (Transcoding Packaging & Delivery) is built specifically to win this replacement cycle.
This role ensures that enterprise customers adopt Scalstrm successfully from first technical evaluation to live production.
Tasks
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture discussions with broadcasters Pay-TV and OTT customers
- Design end-to-end solutions across transcoding packaging and delivery
- Deploy Proof-of-Concepts in customer or cloud environments
- Support enterprise sales cycles alongside UK and European sales leaders
- Own customer onboarding rollout and migration projects
- Write and manage Statements of Work and change requests
- Run project governance status meetings and delivery plans
- Act as technical point of contact between customers and engineering
Requirements
Candidate Profile
- Experience in pre-sales solutions engineering or delivery for streaming or cloud platforms
- Hands-on experience with AWS Azure or GCP and with on-prem / private cloud deployments
- Strong understanding of video workflows (HEVC H.264 SRT ABR low-latency)
- Experience delivering customer implementations into production
- Comfortable working across multiple European customers and teams
- Able to balance sales support with structured project delivery

The role:
- Works alongside Sales Directors across Europe
- Owns technical evaluation PoCs and customer architecture
- Leads onboarding deployment and migration projects
- Manages SOWs change requests and delivery governance
