Maintenance Technician III – Wafer Equipment (Night Shift)

• BO Shift: Sunday Tuesday every other Saturday (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
• GO Shift: Wednesday Friday every other Saturday (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)

Tekberry is seeking a Maintenance Technician III Wafer Equipment (Night Shift) to support our client in their semiconductor wafer manufacturing operations. This role supports critical production equipment in a cleanroom environment and requires strong troubleshooting skills attention to detail and the ability to work independently on off-shifts.

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on wafer fabrication tools
Troubleshoot equipment issues and determine root cause for long-term reliability
Accurately document maintenance activities in CMMS systems and tool logbooks
Support Equipment Engineers and Tool Owners to improve tool uptime and performance
Maintain detailed records including PM checklists parts usage and maintenance history
Follow all cleanroom and safety protocols
Continuously build technical knowledge through training and hands-on work
Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency

Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint)
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently on night shifts and in a team environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs
Willingness to work overtime weekends and flexible schedules
Reliable detail-oriented and quality-focused

Experience with semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment (Photo Thin Films Etch CMP Plating)
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Knowledge of PLCs and control systems
Experience with failure analysis and root cause troubleshooting
Experience using DVMs and standard mechanical tools

Technical degree in Electronics OR
ASE Certification OR
Military electro-mechanical experience OR
Semiconductor industry experience

Cleanroom manufacturing environment
Night shift operations supporting production uptime
Fast-paced high-precision environment requiring strict adherence to safety and contamination control
