Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Lead and manage major engineering projects of significant complexity within defined scope

• Make authoritative technical decisions and recommendations impacting large-scale engineering efforts

• Apply advanced engineering principles theories and concepts using deep or specialized knowledge

• Drive development of innovative solutions methods and technologies

• Independently identify and implement process improvements to optimize product performance cost and schedule

• Provide technical leadership and direction while working under consultative guidance

• Develop and establish engineering standards processes and best practices

• Plan and lead investigations into new or undefined technical areas critical to program success

• Collaborate across teams to support program objectives and engineering excellence

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• 13 years of experience in a specific technical discipline OR 15 years of broad engineering experience across multiple disciplines

• Demonstrated expertise in solving complex engineering problems requiring innovation and technical leadership

• Demonstrated advanced technical skills appropriate to the engineering discipline

• Strong independent judgment leadership and problem-solving capabilities

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
