Job Summary

Job Title: DB2 Database Administrator 14 yrs Exp

Location: Austin TX (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Hands-on experience with DB2 Databases in enterprise environments
Strong expertise in DB2 licensing and Passport Advantage management
Experience managing configuring and supporting DB2 database environments
Knowledge of database performance tuning monitoring and optimization
Experience with AIX UNIX or Linux platforms (minimum 2 years)
Proficiency in Shell scripting/programming for automation and system tasks
Ability to troubleshoot database issues identify root causes and implement solutions
Experience supporting production database systems with high availability requirements
Understanding of database backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies
Familiarity with DB2 on AIX environments (preferred 5 years)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills aligned with Business Analyst responsibilities
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams stakeholders and technical teams
Experience documenting technical processes system configurations and workflows
Knowledge of database security access control and compliance standards
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
