Job Summary
Job Description on Summary
Analyst Developer for Global Markets on the Calypso solution by Nasdaq. The developer is based in Hong Kong as part of a global team with colleagues in France Portugal and India and will take part in:
Developing specific customizations on the NASDAQ CALYPSO software
Implementing unit tests Coding automated regression tests
Participating or realize optimization campaigns.
Main Actvities
Within the DSI Global Market department of Transverse post trade the CALYPSO team covers the management administration and evolution of the global one stop shop benefits CALYPSO platform enabling the development of activities worldwide. Directly in contact with users and working also locally with business analysts and support teams the developer will implement new features and technical improvement to scale up the activities of Natixis Global Markets in APAC:
Trade Lifecycle
Payments
Confirmations
Settlement
Accounting
Cash and Securities Position Management
Regulatory
Reporting
Reconciliations
Required Skills
Proven experience as a Calypso Analyst Developer
Proficiency in Java SQL and database management
Strong understanding of financial products trade life cycles and risk management principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues abroad
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Strong communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications (e.g. CALYPSO certification) are a plus.
