Role description:
The Social Media & Talent Communities Lead is responsible for helping to shape and deliver the global organic social media and community strategy for employer branding. This role drives audience growth engagement and advocacy across priority platforms such as LinkedIn Facebook and Instagram while building meaningful relationships with talent communities employee ambassadors and alumni. It combines strategic channel planning with hands-on execution performance optimisation and stakeholder collaboration to strengthen the organisations employer brand presence globally and support sustainable talent pipelines.
Role accountabilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the global organic social media and channel strategy aligned to EVP and hiring priorities
- Manage day-to-day publishing distribution and optimisation across key social platforms
- Drive audience growth engagement and follower quality across target talent segments
- Oversee social listening community engagement and sentiment analysis translating insights into action
- Build and manage employer brand ambassador and advocacy programmes globally
- Develop and manage global talent communities and alumni engagement strategies via CRM platforms
- Lead amplification of employer brand campaigns across organic channels and employee networks
- Analyse performance data and provide actionable insights to improve content campaigns and engagement
- Collaborate with content marcomms and talent acquisition teams to ensure alignment and execution quality
- Establish and maintain governance processes and best practices for global social and community activity
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business HR or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in social media employer branding or digital communications
- Proven experience managing global or multi-market social channels and communities
- Experience building and scaling ambassador or employee advocacy programmes
- Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g. LinkedIn Analytics Sprout Social Hootsuite or similar)
- Experience working with CRM or talent community platforms
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to design and execute global channel strategies
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Data-driven culturally aware and comfortable working in fast-paced global environments
