Corporate Finance is organised through global products and regional client coverage spanning different geographies and industry focused teams. The Investment Banking Coverage & Advisory division is looking to add an Associate in the Industrials/Business Services (IND/BS) team to their platform. Your key responsibilities

• Transaction execution including day-to-day project & process management financial modelling structuring due diligence documentation and management of legal and accounting workstreams working with both public and private companies

• Assisting senior team members with origination of new business including identification of target opportunities and assisting with the preparation of presentations for clients investors and the broader investment community and responsible for responding to client-specific requests

• Communicating with clients advisers and senior investment bankers including participation in client meetings and events in both origination and execution projects

• Working with our retained United Kingdom listed advisory clients providing market intelligence alongside broader strategic and Mergers & Acquisition (M&A) advice

• Preparing complex financial analysis. Developing knowledge and coverage of certain subsectors and geographies within the industry remit of the team

• Assisting with sector projects initiatives and responsibilities working towards revenue requirements determined by the business and managing and mentoring of team members

Your skills and experience

• Educated to bachelors degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience.

• Relevant extensive experience in Investment Banking or relevant financial services role ideally public and/or private M&A experience

• Excellent understanding of financial markets and corporate finance

• Strong technical skills across financial analysis modelling and valuations

• Highly motivated team player with a desire to work in a client facing role

• Excellent communication skills under pressure. A strong commitment to integrity professionalism and teamwork and sector relevant experience a benefit but not a requirement
