Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed PV system designs including:
- Panel layout and system configuration
- Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
- DC and AC cable routing and sizing
- Inverter sizing and string configuration
Perform energy yield simulations and shading analysis using industry tools
Prepare bill of materials (BOM) and support cost estimation for projects
Optimize system designs to improve performance efficiency and overall project value (e.g. yield cost capacity)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales project managers and engineers) across different regions
Review and validate design outputs to ensure quality and compliance with standards
Contribute to process improvements best practices and knowledge sharing within the team
Ensure all designs comply with company standards safety regulations and local codes

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical Mechanical Civil or related field) or Architecture
At least 34 years of experience in engineering design with a minimum of 2 years in solar PV design
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office tools
Experience with solar design software such as PVSyst (Helioscope or similar tools are a plus)
Solid understanding of PV system design including layouts electrical design and performance analysis
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound technical decisions
Proactive resourceful and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and collaboration skills especially in a global team setting
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
