Hold National Personal Training Institute (NPTI) FISAF International Certified Personal Trainer (Malaysia) or ISSA (International Sports Science Association) or internally recognized related certifications.
- Supervisory experience in the leisure sector
- Good command of the English language

Fitness Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fitness center ensuring the facility remains safe clean and wellmaintained while delivering outstanding service to all members. The role includes supervising staff coordinating equipment upkeep enforcing safety standards and supporting the implementation of fitness programs to maintain high operational and service quality. Additionally Fitness Supervisor actively engages with members contributes to membership growth efforts manages feedback and fosters a positive customerfocused environment throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities/Main Duties
Oversee daily operations of the Fitness Centre ensuring all areas are safe functional andwellmaintained
Conduct routine equipment inspections safety checks and coordinate repairs when necessary.
Maintainhigh standardsof cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the gym facility.
Supervise guide and support fitness staff and trainers to ensure consistent service excellence.
Participate in staff onboarding training and ongoing performance evaluation.
Promote a positivecustomerfocused and cando culture among team members.
Provide exceptional service to all members addressing questions concerns and feedback promptly.
Conduct FitnessCentreinductions and orientations ensuringguests andmembers understand equipment use and safety.
Deliver fitness guidance such as assisted stretchingwarmupscooldowns and general exercise advice.
Conduct facility tours forguests andmembers and promote membership packages and services.
Assistin marketing and outreach initiatives to attract new members and re-engage inactive ones.
Monitor member satisfaction support retention strategies and help strengthen the Fitness Centres reputation.
Support the scheduling and coordination of fitness classes personal training sessions and wellness activities.
Participate in developing new fitness programs andidentifyingopportunities for enhanced services.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards enforcing gym rules and equipmentuseguidelines.
Serve as a first responder during incidents or emergencies and ensure incident reporting procedures are followed.
Monitor potential hazards and proactively resolve or escalate issues.
Support maintenance of attendance logs safety checklists andmembershiprelateddocumentation.
Assistmanagement with budget oversight program reporting and operational improvements.

Ensuresnew technologyand equipment are embraced improving productivity while taking work out of the system.
