Job Summary
We are looking for a Network Technical Support Engineer with 13 years of experience to support and maintain the organizations network infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting network and WiFi issues supporting users and ensuring stable and secure connectivity across all systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot LAN WAN and WiFi connectivity problems.
- Respond to user requests and incidents within SLA.
- Assist in maintaining routers switches and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and report issues.
- Support network setup for new users devices and locations.
- Troubleshoot wireless connectivity and performance issues.
- Assist in configuring and maintaining access points.
- Support basic WiFi coverage optimization.
- Log track and document issues and resolutions.
- Escalate complex technical problems when needed.
- Follow standard troubleshooting procedures.
- Follow IT security policies and best practices.
- Assist in basic firewall and VPN configurations.
- Ensure secure access to network resources.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or related field.
- 13 years of experience in IT support or networking.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS DHCP).
- Familiarity with network devices (routers switches access points).
Preferred Certifications
- CCNA (or currently studying)
- CompTIA Network
Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good communication and user-facing skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a team
- Basic knowledge of network security
