The Diagnostic Imaging teams use state-of-the-art imaging technology while providing health care teams with the information needed for a fast accurate diagnosis. Imaging services include: X-Ray Fluoroscopy Bone Density CT Scan Digital Mammography MRI Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound services. We now offer PET-CT scans the latest in diagnostic imaging technology and one of the most powerful imaging tools that physicians can use to help diagnose and treat patients with cancer and other diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional
Explaining what will happen during the CT scan to patients
Positioning patients properly to take the necessary images
Administering IVs that contain contrast dyes to enhance imaging
Examining images to ensure theyre usable
Updating patient medical information
Cleaning and maintaining CT scan equipment
Keeping inventory of CT scan supplies and making orders for supply restocks as required
Current unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology required.
Healthcare Provider BLS required.
Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong communication professionalism and reliability
