Freelance Lawyer (Commercial and Labour Law)

To support our continued growth and ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions LGG Advisors is looking for a Freelance Lawyer (Commercial & Labour Law) to provide legal advisory support on a project-based basis.

This role will focus on advising the company on corporate commercial and labour law matters supporting internal stakeholders with legal analysis documentation and compliance guidance.

DESCRIPTION

As a Freelance Lawyer (Commercial & Labour Law) you will provide legal advisory support to LGG Advisors on corporate commercial and employment-related matters. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that the company operates in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks while supporting the review and drafting of legal documentation and advising on employment practices and commercial agreements. This role requires strong analytical skills sound legal judgement and the ability to work independently in a dynamic and international business environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide ongoing legal advisory support to management and internal teams;
  
• Draft and review commercial agreements service contracts NDAs and other legal documents;
  
• Provide legal guidance on labour law matters and employment practices;
  
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions when required;
  
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the companys operations;
  
• Collaborate with internal teams (HR Finance Operations) on legal and compliance matters
  
  

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Law degree from an accredited university;
  
• Qualified lawyer admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association (Ordem dos Advogados);
  
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in commercial and labour law;
  
• Experience advising corporate clients or working in a corporate/legal advisory environment is preferred;
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  
• Ability to work independently and manage legal matters autonomously;
  
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken)
