Vos responsabilités

• Analyser les appels doffres et demandes de prix afin de proposer des solutions techniques conformes aux exigences des clients;
• Participer à la cueillette de données et à la prise de mesures sur site lorsque requis;
• Soutenir léquipe des ventes internes dans lélaboration des soumissions;
• Assurer le suivi technique des solutions retenues de la conception à la livraison;
• Appuyer les équipes de gestion de projets dachats et de chantier pour assurer le respect des échéanciers;
• Rédiger des procédures techniques (diagnostic assemblage démontage);
• Fournir un soutien technique aux équipes internes aux clients et aux partenaires;
• Développer des solutions de remplacement pour des produits discontinués;
• Vérifier et approuver les rapports de chantier;
• Offrir des formations internes et externes sur les équipements et solutions.

Responsabilités senior Produits GIS et AIS

• Élaborer des plans de formation pour les équipes dingénierie ventes projets et terrain;
• Fournir un soutien technique aux équipes de soumission de projets et aux clients;
• Collaborer à la planification des investissements et à la mise en place des outils nécessaires;
• Participer à la formation et au mentorat dingénieurs ou techniciens;
• Contribuer au recrutement des équipes de terrain;
• Offrir un soutien technique selon les besoins opérationnels (incluant une disponibilité planifiée).

Qualifications requises

• DEC ou baccalauréat en génie électrique ou formation équivalente;
• Minimum de 10ans dexpérience avec les produits GIS et AIS;
• Expérience terrain en installation haute tension;
• Connaissance dAutoCAD;
• Capacité à lire et interpréter des dessins électriques et mécaniques;
• Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en travail déquipe;
• Capacité à gérer plusieurs projets simultanément;
• Curiosité technique et esprit analytique;
• Maîtrise du français à loral et à lécrit;
• Connaissance fonctionnelle de langlais requise en raison dinteractions régulières avec des clients fournisseurs et équipes situés à lextérieur du Québec ainsi que de la consultation de documentation technique en anglais;
• Autorisation légale de travailler au Canada (vérification préemploi requise).

The Service unit of GE Grid Solutions is seeking a HV Electrical Switchgear Project Specialist to join its Service team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager the selected candidate will play a key role in the execution of retrofit and substation expansion projects while providing technical support to internal teams customers and external partners for highvoltage equipment (GIS and AIS).

The function includes (but is not limited to):

• Study the clients tenders and RFQs (Request For Quote) to determine the best course of action to meet the specified requirements.
• If necessary take the necessary readings and measures to ensure the presentation of an offer satisfactory to the customer
• Assist the internal sales department in drafting quotes.
• Once the order has been obtained ensure the support and follow-up of the design of the solutions adopted by internal or external groups.
• Provide support to project managers and the purchasing group to ensure the on-time delivery of required equipment
• Provide support to internal and external teams responsible for carrying out the work.
• Write diagnostic assembly and disassembly procedures adapted to completed projects.
• In support of the engineering group respond to technical questions raised by inside sales staff contract administrators or from a client of the latter. Provide technical assistance during the drafting of quotes.
• Develop turnkey adaptation solutions for the replacement of discontinued products from GE Grid Solutions. Test and standardize the documentation relating to the chosen solution.
• Help materialize business opportunities.
• Establish inspection criteria in collaboration with customers and publish them.
• Check and approve the site reports of our field technicians
• Provide internal and external training on our equipment and solutions

• Training an engineering member on the GIS Products
• Providing technicalsupport to customers
• Providing technicalsupport to the Sales Team
• Assisting withthe recruitment offield eng. or tech.
• Providing24/7 support for GIS and AIS Products

Required Qualifications

• Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Electrical Engineering or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or any other equivalent education;
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with GIS and AIS products;
• Field experience on highvoltage installation sites;
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD;
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings for highvoltage systems;
• Excellent communication skills leadership and ability to work effectively in a team environment;
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced evolving environment;
• Strong observational skills curiosity ingenuity and a willingness to develop and deepen specialized technical knowledge;
• Full professional proficiency in French and English both oral and written; (English is required due to sustained complex interactions with clients suppliers and technical documentation outside Québec that are essential to the core responsibilities of the role.)
• Must have legal authorization to work in Canada. Any offer of employment is conditional upon successful completion of a preemployment background check.
