Position Overview

We are seeking a highly capable experienced CPA to lead the tax function across multiple entities while serving as a trusted financial partner to the owner.

This is a unique role combining Head of Tax and Personal CFO responsibilities. You will oversee tax operations across growing bookkeeping platforms while also managing financial visibility reporting and strategic insight across a portfolio of businesses.

This is not a 95 role it requires ownership accountability and someone who takes full responsibility for outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full tax function across multiple entities
• Review finalize and file all business and individual tax returns
• Oversee and manage a team of accountants
• Serve as the signing CPA on tax filings
• Act as a personal CFO to the owner across multiple businesses
• Review financial statements (P&L balance sheets) prepared by bookkeeping teams
• Deliver clear monthly financial reporting and insights
• Track overall financial performance across entities (profitability cash flow net worth trends)
• Communicate directly with high-level clients on complex tax matters
• Ensure accuracy compliance and quality control across all tax work
• Identify financial risks inefficiencies and opportunities

Requirements

• CPA license (required)
• 810 years of tax experience
• Deep experience with both business and individual tax returns
• Strong knowledge of real estate tax
• Experience reviewing high volumes of returns and managing quality control
• Prior experience managing or overseeing a team
• Comfortable working across multiple entities and complex financial structures

• Base salary around $150000
